Cuesta Planning Consultants offers experience, professional objectivity and creativity to governments, private sector groups, individuals, and community-based organizations. Since 1992, we have been providing specialized professional planning services to local municipalities in addition to traditional planning services offered to individual clients who require experienced planning analysis and advice on a wide variety of land use and resource management issues.

Staff

Don Scott
With over 23 years of public sector planning experience at a directorship level, Don Scott founded Cuesta Planning Consultants in 1992 to provide land use planning and resource management services with the Grey, Bruce, Huron and Wellington County areas. Over the past fifteen years, he has provided specialized professional planning services to local municipalities in addition to traditional planning services offered to individual clients throughout the planning approval process.
Brandon Ward
Brandon is a recent graduate of the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. Brandon has been involved in projects pertaining to contemporary planning practice and theory, as well as urban design principles at the community scale as they relate to the physical, economic and social context of urban and rural communities. He has a sound understanding of environmental issues in planning as well as the evolving planning regime within the Province of Ontario.
Genevieve Scott
Genevieve received a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Geography at Queen's University 2000. Prior to joining Cuesta Planning Consultants, Genevieve worked for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Genevieve is involved in all aspects of land-use planning and has particular experience with the Aggregate Resources Act and the Environmental Screening Process.
